The concessionaire, inyo recreation (as written on their trucks), is nothing short of a disaster for those that have camped at oh ridge! What do i mean? They do not provide any additional services or amenities to the campground. Their entire business plan appears to be to charge campers for anything they do outside their campsite. They are geneerally rude and arrogant. At the same time they have zero control of their own campground. They put all their staff around the beach area to collect 10 bucks for day use at the lake (which has never been done before and they do not honor senior pass access), but do not stop anyone from walking through everyone campsite, which is en route to the lake access. They add nothing, they want to charge campers more, and their very presence detracts from your experience. I hope to not return while those parasites run the place.

This campground has turned into a trailer park, with non-stop generator noise from 7am to 10pm. An inordinate percentage of people who stay in RVs/Trailers simply do not have an accurate concept of how their noise affects people who are camping, in tents, in their area. Please designate several loops as tent-only, as is the practice in a large number of public campgrounds. It would be appropriate to choose loops that are not in close proximity to RV/generator loops. Also, loop hosts need to make regular rounds during quiet hours. When the source of a "complaint" is clear to an aggressive and problematic party, then that source is at risk. Regular rounds establish the host as the "complainant" and keep the paying visitors safe from retaliation.Oh Ridge used to be very nice. It can be again, with a more mindful strategy for noise control. Thanks a bunch!
