The campsite was really small. The other campsites are literally next to you. You have pass through their tent to get water. The bathrooms are far away. The host does not care how many people are in a site let alone how many tents you can put up. The last night there were about 6 tents and over 10 people.

Stayed in spot #50. This spot is extremely close to spot #49, and you have to walk through spot #49 to get to the water spigot (there is no way around). There is also no restroom in this loop, so you must walk a fair distance to get to one. As a whole, this campground has too few restrooms for the number of visitors, so there is usually a wait to use the restroom once you make the trek. Overall, the campground layout is uncomfortable at best and mostly just plain awkward. Beautiful setting, though. Can't complain about the views! The camp hosts are great as well.

Camp ground sites are very close together, but most have room behind for tents to spread out. Camp hosts work very hard to keep it clean and follow Covid guidelines. Beautiful location. Great place to acclimate to higher altitude before a backpack trip, which was what we did. Camp ground had a resident bear who wondered through every evening. So long as you kept food in the bear boxes there were no problems.

My friend and I stayed in Site 50 for one night before a backpacking trip. Overall, the site was nice, and the restrooms were very clean. However, several neighbors came by to tell us that bears had broken into the bear locker the previous night. Once we had loaded all of our scented items in the bear locker, we realized the key was stripped, and all of our items were locked inside. Eventually, my friend found a tool to open the lock. If you stay in Site 50, please check to make sure the bear locker has been repaired!
