Stayed 4th of July and had the best time! Our group of 25 booked 4 spots on a loop and enjoyed pristine bathrooms, a friendly camp host, and all the conveniences of Twin Lakes campground, from the store to the trolley stop. We love Mammoth and Twin Lakes is a truly epic campground for families. Highly recommended!

Well laid-out campground. Nice folks run the store and boat rentals. If you forget to bring something, they probably have it, so don't worry. We saw two different kinds of wild ducks raising their babies on the lake while we were there this time. Local fish hatcheries have had disease problems, so the lake was being stocked with healthy fish from outside the area. The camp host is kind, professional, and savvy. (We look forward to seeing her each year.) Remember to keep your food and fragrant items secure, because the bears *do* come -- in the middle of the night -- and everybody in the campground gets woke up if things get "exciting". Also, be prepared for weather. An E-Z Up over the picnic table is nice in the rain. Strings of little lights are fun, and can help you find your way back to bed after you visit the restroom in the middle of the night. Close to enough to town to be convenient, but detached enough to feel far away. We had a great time . . . just like always.

This is our fifth or sixth vacation at Twin Lakes Campground so we obviously love it. Weve found the perfect site for our 26-foot trailer thats not as sloped as others and gets some sun for our solar panels. The camp hosts are very friendly and the campground is always clean. Plus the access to all the Mammoth Lakes (and town) is awesome. We will be back
