The site was clean and camp hosts were lovely. What left the site in the good category is how steep the grade was for attempting to level out the RV. We weren't able to safely level out forcing us to keep the room slide closed. The camp site listing does list the grade as severe and I might have been over optimistic about what that meant.

Great campsite! Clean. Close to trails. Booked 2 days before Labor Day, thinking I would never get a campsite. Must have been lucky.

I didnt stay in the site, it was to dangerous for me to drive my motor home up the hill and vary close the a steep edge

Great camping, but our campsite was on a steep hill which made it a little challenging for chairs. We spend most of our time hiking and fishing.

Nice place. Theres a road that passes by the campground and some sites are close to that road. It was clean and our campground host, Ronnie was very helpful and accommodating.

Our family really enjoyed our camping experience in site #80. Yes, this is not a traditional "flat" site, but it is very functional & close to the bathrooms/water. You will get a little extra exercise walking up and down the camp site. Tents 10'x10' or less would be recommended. If you do bring a second tent, it should be much smaller. There was plenty of dry wood available around the site to collect and use for our campfire which was a bonus. We did have several visits by the local bears, so keep your food locked up at all times! They seemed to have a regular schedule, early for breakfast, and then again for dinner. Site is very close to the store & showers if needed.

Be prepared for afternoon thunderstorms in the summertime! And make sure you store your food properly in the bear boxes. We had an afternoon visitor(BEAR!) in our camp!

First off avoid site 80 at all costs! It is on a huge slope and there isnt a level area on the site for a decent family sized tent. They separate the campground by upper and lower. I would avoid upper at all costs. They are on a hill and or are very small and uncomfortable. Even our picnic table was so angled when we cooked eggs on our stove the eggs ran off the pan and fell to one side. It shouldnt even be a site you can reserve. I wouldnt take it if it was free. People next to us showed up a day early to check out their site & never came back for their reservation! That should tell you something. There were trees falling & one landed on a persons site across from us just days before. I have pics! That person left to stay in a hotel and thankfully it fell while she was out. These are massive old pines and could have killed someone if it happened at night! Even an employee mentioned they steer people away from any upper pines sites -even if its just for 1 night and in an Rv. We stayed last summer in the other area same campground lower pines- it was beautiful. This experience was not pleasurable and we left sleep deprived and dissatisfiedwith gas prices so high & we arent local -made it even worse. We are a tent camping family and these Upper sites are barely tolerable even in an RV!!

The campground was absolutely perfect. Plenty of room between camps, very clean sites (and bathrooms), and the camp host, Ronnie, was so nice and helpful. I highly recommend Twins Lakes. And dont forget to rent ebikes to see all the lakes.
