The weather was the main factor in this camping experience. When I arrived it started to rain, not just rain, but hale, a HARD hale. The kind that makes camper scurry like mice being chased by a large cat. And the wind...it would not stop. I was not able to set up my tent and had to sleep in my car. The whole night was constant pounding on the roof of my car and the whistling of the wind. In the morning, I decided to cut my trip short as I was sure the cold weather was not going to let me enjoy the beauty around me. I'm more of a Spring and Summer type.Regardless, the area is beautiful with lake views, big trees giving shade to camp sites, and paved roads with lots of walking trails. I will be back when the weather is more to my liking...

Very close to town. Free shuttle bus stops at the entrance next to general store.Flushing toilets were clean. Sizes of campsites were generous but no flat and level ground for tents. Every site was sloped.

Site 76 was clean and fairly level for our tents. It is close to the restrooms which was very convenient. The campground is very spacious and beautiful. We had a wonderful time.

Relaxing Time at Twin Lakes Campground Site 64 Peaceful The Campsite was a bit on a slope so it was a little difficult to find a spot to place our tent .. Bathrooms nearby & very clean. We had a great time !

The setting is wonderful. The campsite was mostly level for my RV. The bathrooms were clean. And the camp host was attentive and visibly present. All great!

This is the best campsite. It is secluded enough but also close to the store, bathroom, and trolley stop. There is very minimal cell service.

Spectacular area. Great fishing, beautiful views and lakes.
Great camp hosts, Ronnie & Pops, Jim & Mary, always helpful with tips and suggestions for activities and sights to see,
Already planning to go back next fall.

Campsite was not what we expected. Was narrow and had a very steep downward slope.

Camp was super quiet our entire stay, the homemade tamales in the general store were outstanding, piping hot showers for $8 (worth it), and clean flush water facilities! We love Twin Lakes Mammoth!
