This is a beautiful campground. We were very lucky to get a campsite due to some last minute cancellations. The camphost was very nice and so helpful. The bathrooms were kept clean, there was no litter and our site was reasonably flat. The fall colors reflecting on the lake were a special treat.

The camp hosts at Twin Lakes campground are awesome. I had booked a site that was too steep for my van and they easily changed the site to one that had a nice view. Also got a very nice site on an afternoon's notice, So many fun activities to do there: including fishing, kayaking, hiking, and biking. It's very close to town for other amenities.

Be aware that Showers are $8/person, regardless of age (Aug. 2022) (even though their website states $4/shower) and showers are available between 7am-6pm--next time we will invest in a camping shower tent instead. Take cash to pay for the second overnight vehicle (no reimbursements, so pay per night--in case your guest leaves earlier than anticipated--due to sick child or heavy rain for example). There is a free summer trolley (within 5min of walking with kids), I recommend taking the trolley first to see all the "must see spots and overlooks" and to get driver's insights on what to do. This place is beautiful, most campsites are shaded; my family and I all enjoyed our stay (free trolley rides, hot springs within a 20min drive, fishing, swimming at nearby lakes (if you're going swimming take swim shoes--there are some fishing hooks/glass in lakes and rocks that hurt your feet), we took an inflatable raft, and picnics at trails and lakes were also highly enjoyed.

I love this campground. Were able to go to other lakes other than this. We had fun here for 3 nights. I would love to come back here again in the future.
