Space # 66 was horrible, a lot smaller than expected. Overgrown vegetation.

I was camped at site 55. It was a large site for my tent and car and my German Shepherd had plenty of room to roam around this campsite on a 20 foot tether. It was very quiet at night after 10 pm. Excellent campground hosts. It is mostly situated in the tall pines and in October there was not a lot of sun on this site, mostly shade. The bathrooms were very clean and well equipped with TP. Had a sink and mirror inside. The bathroom was close to my site but far enough away so you couldn’t hear people coming in and out. Also no one had to cross into my campsite to get to the bathroom. I had a very enjoyable 5 day stay there. Nice campers all around. I was there to see the Fall foliage which was spectacular in the surrounding canyons of the Easter Sierras. Rock Creek, McGee Creek, Mammoth Creek, June Lake Loop, Lundy Canyon and Virginia Lakes near Bodie ghost town showcased an abundance of Fall colors, mainly Aspen and some Cottonwoods. Daytime temps were in the mid 60’s and nights were cold but comfortable with layering and a very warm down sleeping bag a must.

Now retired we have a very busy Camping schedule. From the mountains to the sea we have camped nearly 350 days in less than 2 & one half years. After visiting Twin Lakes twice my wife and I proclaim this beautiful spot as a must visit to all our camping friends. Our second trip we convinced ourLong time camping friends to also make the trip. They loved the Lakes, the spectacular water falls, Devils Post Pile, and the numerous bike and hiking trails as much as we did.The sites we had were very ample and nicely shaded. OurCamp Host, Adam, was extra friendly and so helpful. This Campground is going to be an annual event for us. Hope to share with more friends in the future

It was a great camp site with plenty of space to set a 4 person tent, 2 person tent, trees to hang a hammock and setup a slackline. Close to the bathroom/potable water but not too close to get a draft of any waste smell.
