Ralph and Virginia did an amazing job with the upkeep of the facilities in our area of the campsite. They were friendly, accommodating and willing to help with anything we needed. You would constantly see Ralph and Virginia cruising around making sure everything was clean.!!

This was our first time camping at twin lakes. We were at campsite 51 next to the hosts camp. The campsite was huge and spacious, well shaded, we set up two tents. Bathroom was a few steps away. We loved the walk to the lake, beautiful view. My only complaint is that there were no showers at the campsite, theres a store in the entrance to the campground that charges $8 per person per shower! I would definitely camp here if it was t for that.

The perfect mountain lake camping experience. Beautiful - lakes, waterfalls, mountains, trails. . . . and easy access to the services of a resort town. You really couldn't ask for more.

Camp sites were a little to close to one another. One group next to us didn’t follow the guidelines and we’re up late being loud till around midnight. Another couple on the opposite side was sneezing forever. Bring ear plugs!

The surrounding landscape is beautiful. The lakes and trees and mountains leave you speechless. Our spot had a perfect view of the stars right above our tent since the trees didn’t block the view like other sites.

A bear tried to break into our truck and banged on a tent at night, so, no sleep. The campground was closed by the forest service even though we were not threatened by a fire. Four people drove from Los Angeles and got fishing licenses for nothing. Never coming back.

Twin Lakes is picturesque! But because of that it is very crowded, maybe because everyone & their brother is a rver or camper during this COVID pandemic. If you have an RV on the larger side, like loner than 20 foot, we have a 33 foot 5th wheel, do some research on your camp spot if your lucky enough to get one. Most spots are small & if they are larger enough they are tight for a bigger rig to get into. And dont go if you dont have a reservation. First come First serve (FF) are nearly impossible to get. There are people in cars & trucks driving around stocking the people leaving that day. They are there early too, like 6am. Its crazy! Just save yourself the trouble & make sure you have reservations & can fit into that spot. Otherwise, if I had reservations & a big enough spot for our rig, we would definitely go back. Happy Camping!
