My lower rating does not reflect on the campsite personnel. The camp host, Mary, was helpful and the general store was very convenient (their firewood is cheaper than the local grocery stores). Our issues are with the setup of the campsite. Ive never been to a campground that had such poor use of their space. Our reserved campsite was advertised to fit a trailer and a vehicle, but actually is a shared single driveway with another reserved spot! Our vehicle only fit with our small trailer if it was parked at an angle and there was only about two feet between us and our neighbors trailer. Definitely not what we expected since we met all the minimum requirements for this spot and not at all what you would expect for camping. Beware of the sites here and consider booking both if you have to get a shared site and want any privacy or even to be able to use your awning. There is no direct view of the lake which is surrounded by shrubs except in front of the private Lodge. Definitely not worth it for us and we will not be back.

Everything was great! Beautiful location next to twin lakes and an awesome waterfall. Bathrooms cleaned regularly. Camp hosts are friendly. Only negative is showers are $8 which is the most expensive Ive had at a campsite.

The campground was maintained well by Ronnie and her husband, the camp hosts. The check-in was great, the bathrooms were spotless, the campsite was clean, and the campground was quiet. Ronnie was very friendly, helpful, and organized. I will definitely return one day.

I had stopped camping for several years because the noise level was too much for me. I do not appreciate loud music, kids running through my campsite, or the noise of RV generators. Ronnie and her husband may have restored my belief that it is still possible to have an enjoyable camping experience.

FYI - I fished at the Rock Creek Canyon campground, which the Forest Service also maintains, I believe. The bathroom was disgusting, so dirty; I refused to use it. Different camp hosts.
