Its a shared space not really ideally, but we made it work. Fire place is a little far away from the site

Beautiful lake! Great staff! Very Clean Bathrooms. Boat and bike rentals were fun. Site 7 was very small but I think we got the very last space available during our trip so we were happy to have it. a great hike up to the top of the waterfall. Wish there were more trash bins around. We would return in a heartbeat.

Very nice site. Lodge close by is a special place. Magical at night with old music playing.

Best campground in Mammoth

Scenic, ample birdwatching of broods of young waterfowl, clean facilities. One suggestion is posting a map of the campsite since its difficult to find a campsite number when arriving after dark.

Camp hosts are extremely helpful and very nice. Very clean amenities and campgrounds. Super fun area for anyone as there are great hikes close by, lake to paddle board, kayak, and fish in. There is a phenomenal bike path that runs through the campgrounds and travels onto Lake Mary Rd. A rental store for bikes (e-bikes too) and all water toys listed above. A general store that has almost everything and has hot showers after a long days hike for a small fee per person (bring your own soaps). This campground welcomes almost any size vehicle. Anywhere from tent camping to RV camping (motorhomes, 5th wheelers, trailers, airstreams, etc.). If you want to stay in a house they have log cabins as well not too far from the campgrounds. A restaurant is close to them as well. Lastly, its only 8 minutes from downtown mammoth. Cant go wrong with this spot in my personal opinion.

We were not able to use this camp spot it it was very unlevel and to narrow. once parked in our designated space we could not open our door and steps due to the barricade. We have motor home would work maybe with a trailer. One parking spot for two separate campers We had to go somewhere else. The camp staff was friendly and helpful and the area is beautiful.

Our poor rating was heavily influenced by an inaccurate description of the site we reserved. Site #7 should not be identified as an RV site (the description is for an RV site of no more than 26) as the pad is shared with site #8. When both parties occupy the site their RVs/vehicles will be 8 apart and there is no parking if your RV requires a tow vehicle. We had a five day reservation but stayed only one night. At the suggestion of the camp hosts (Scott and Brian were fantastic) we attempted to cancel the unused portion of our reservation. Regrettably we could not reach reservation.gov over the phone during two seven hour driving days.

It was a great campsite, with clean restrooms. Our hosts, were such a wonderful couple and so helpful and accommodating. The only setback is that the shower area is managed by the general store and that they have time until 6pm only and the line is so long at daytime. But will definitely go back there in some other time.

Beautiful experience, camping was very relaxing, the sad part was when it was time to leave, you just wish you can stay longer...
