Campground manager is the best. Keeps everything so nice and very helpful with any information you might need.

We were in site 83, which was pretty flat and had great views to the mountains surrounding the lake. We brought our bikes and pedaled around the campground as well as the lake. Treated ourselves to one night at The Restaurant at Convict Lake. Never had a bad meal. They're great! We were there the last week they were open before closing for the winter. Was mighty cold at night, but the stars were spectacular. Can't wait to go back next year.

Clean and quiet campground, will definitely come back. Beautiful lake to fish and hike around!

Very well maintained campground! Bathrooms are very clean, firepits were cleaned out, beautiful and clean spot. We were at #83 - only thing is its not the easiest for a tent spot as the ground is hard to get stakes through and it's very exposed, no shade cover. Keep in mind, convict lake is a very windy campground and the lake itself gets pretty busy but the campground itself was quiet. Really enjoyed this spot a lot!

The lake was beautiful. The campsites are clean with good working bathroom. I just wished they had showers. There’s an information board as you get into the camp but unclear as to directions how to check-in and I did not notice any map of the campsite to direct you to your site. Apparently, you don’t have to check in or out. They have a card on your booked site with your name and date of camping. A bit confusing for first timers.

Convict Lake is just as beautiful today as it was 15 years ago when I first visited. Campsites are real nice, trail around the lake was good, but could use a little TLC in spots. I plan on visiting again in the early fall.

This is a gorgeous campground! Views of the mountains are amazing and the lake is incredible. Trout fishing from the shore is fun but your chances of catching "the big one" are better from a boat which can be rented at the lake. Deer wander through the campground on occasion and, though wild, they are very used to being around people. Showers are not available in the campground but the resort (which also has restaurant, lounge, and store) offers public shower for a fee.We try to get up there at least once each year!!
