We go there every year, twice a year. Early May and mid October. Guy trip. For over 20 years. Weather is always something one needs to be ready for. We had snow, wind, and sunshine all in one week. Be prepared! Fishing was good, not great, but we caught enough for a trout dinner for several guys. Dennis and Jeff were fantastic as always. Campground hosts par excellence! We had two trailers in 58 and 59. One was my brothers. I rented from Adventure in Camping. Great company! Been renting from them for years.Dinner at the restaurant is a must! The resort is stocked with nearly everything you need. Oops! Ive said too much.

Great place to camp, fish, eat, and relax with friends and family. Been going there for about 30+ years, and will continue to for as long as possible. Fishing was much better this year, as they are stocking the lake and creek more often, and with bigger fish. We rent a trailer from Adventures in Camping, and they are fantastic. Be sure to reserve a table at the Convict Lake Resort for a five star meal.

First of all, the weather was unparalleled! Blue sky, sunshine, and no wind! Fishing could have been much better, but sometimes its good and sometimes not. Dennis was a great host. Loved having dinner twice at the Convict restaurant. Overall, great!

Hosts keep the entire grounds very clean and tidy. Scenic location. Wildlife roams around all day.

Ive been coming here for over 20 years in the Spring to camp and fish with my brother, my sons, nephew, and dear friends. This year was the best time in years. Great weather, great fishing, great food, and great camaraderie.

Beautiful campground, beautiful views of the mountains. A bit crowded at the lake. Too many people think it’s for swimming and not for fishing. Dennis, campground manager, was very helpful & pleasant. He is a problem solver.

Well maintained campground. Fishing was good at the lake, but unfortunately the streams were not stocked this year. There was a spider infestation, which we attributed to the lack of rain. We have camped here many times and always, no matter the weather, had a great time.

Convict Lake has never disappointed us. The lake and scenery is absolutely beautiful, the grounds are kept up, the running stream is gorgeous. And of course for those mid day munchies the general store is always well stocked! We love it here!
