We love this place, the campground is well kept. It's hard to get the camping place that you want thought. I tried multiple times and the spots I wanted was not available. Then suddenly its taken by someone else. Don't understand how that is.

Clean sites, restrooms. Host extremely helpful. Good hikes up Convict Creek.

We are lucky got a large campsite for 2 middle-size tents. This campground is quiet and its restroom is super clean. I like to give 5 stars

As you leave hwy. 395 to the hwy. turnoff to Convict lake, the view approaching the campground/lake is unbelievable. It's like eye candy. It's been on my list for years and I'm so thank that I finally made it. Walked around the lake a few times andincluded a challenging hike to Lake Mildred. With the bridge out and the high water level, we were unable to get to our destination. The campground and bathrooms with flushing system are well maintained. It's was windy but it was only an issue when we tried to rent a pontoon. This place is quaint and very relaxing. We will be back.

Recommend site for small groups unless renting out several spots. Camp host is super friendly and so nice, out site was way to small for our grp of 5 and he was kind enough to allow us to move to another site that would better fit our grp. I dont know how we were going to do it if it was not for him letting us move. Facilities were super clean and very well kept.

I have stayed at Convict Lake Campground on two different trips. It's one of my favorites because it is clean, pet/family friendly, large enough to take the pup for a walk without having to drive somewhere. I love having the lake so close, and it's such a pretty sight. Whenever I drive through the Eastern Sierras, I try to book a campsite here!
