Nice, shady, roomy campsite - excellent park staff - super clean bath house - quiet campground - what could be better!?!?

Campground host was EXCEEDINGLY kind and caring when checking to make sure I was supposed to be there. I'd pulled in very late and wasn't sure about disturbing them to check in, so I left my pass and the printout of my reservation on my dash. The next morning, they did knock on my window (car camper), though it was already maybe 9:00 or 9:30 when they did so. They very politely explained that they'd seen my dash stuff but still had to confirm who I was. It was clear that they could see how exhausted I was, and within about ten seconds of sharing my info, they were almost parentingly telling me to go back to sleep. :)

Wonderful at check in. Too many mosquitoes....not your fault. Nice camp areas. Nice big sites.

Excellent campsite! We stayed at 53 and it was huge and relatively secluded. Ground is sand/pebbles that can make putting your stakes in a bit tricky, but no wind meant they didn't have to be perfectly secured. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Dunewood was enjoyable. The campground was quiet, the host was friendly and welcoming, and the bathrooms/showers were fairly clean all things considered. It rained while we were there and it was hot and humid, so the mosquitos were thick, so it would be a good idea to have bug spray or bug-repellent clothes.
