Extremely nice campground with flush toilets, showers, utility sink, paved road and parking pads. The park ranger who checked me in seemed to know everything about every inch of the campsites. Theres a nearby convenience store within walking distance that sells firewood and anything else you might need. One downside is there is a commuter train nearby that runs at night and might wake up some people.

Walking within the campground, from my site to the bathroom and around the driveway, my dog and I picked up 6 ticks. Too much poison ivy, bathrooms were so so. I would not return.

Absolutely awesome! Our first camping experience and it was fab. We were close to bathrooms which were clean and big. Overall great!

It was a great spot to camp for a few days! I’m a very shaded area, campsites were far apart from each other, bathrooms were clean and stocked. The campsite itself was wonderful. Had a fire pit and a picnic table. There was plenty of room for a very large tent and chairs around the fire pit. The hosts were super helpful and nice! They let me know where to park to head to the beach (there’s a few beaches within driving/biking distance or NPS designated parking) and were helpful with recommendations on things to do in the area.
I had great cell service and everything in the area (food, gas, ice, etc) was easy to find without navigation.
Just be prepared for sand in/on everything :) I’m still finding it

The campground was wonderful; beautifully wooded with spacious spots. It is amazing that it is located in town- you can hear traffic somewhat but cannot see it. The hiking was great and we found a really good restaurant right at the entrance to the campground called Goblin and Grocers. Watch for ticks even at the end of October- I found one on myself and one on my dog. I definitely recommend this National Park for its beauty and uniqueness. Late fall meant virtually no other people- a real bonus in my book. I would like to visit in the spring when all the birds migrate through.
