probably my new favorite place at lake shelbyville. Clean and peaceful. Having the general store at the entrance is very handy and of course the boat ramp and nessies is great. all you need in one place.

The sites are well kept. The community bathrooms and showers were nice and clean. I still do not like the fact that most of your sites do not have water hookups. It does have a beach/swimming area and a marina to rent boats.

We like the downtown Shelbyville. Always like to spend a day shopping Etc. Get a Joe's pizza. The campground is great. All of the paved sites makes it nice. We try to get there a couple times a year and hopefully more. Great place!

I have to say that Ive been camping and boating at Lithia Springs since I was a young child. About 30 years or so now. I just started bringing my kids here this past year and I guess I never realized how unfriendly this campground was for tent campers. Seems the entire campground has been set up for RVS and pull behind campers. I guess a person could always pitch a tent in the gravel lot if they wanted to but Ill pass on it this year.
