Lithia Springs Campground in Shelby County is located 52 min southeast of Decatur, IL with an elevation of 654 feet. There are a total of 102 campsites. The campground is normally open from mid April to the end of October. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 25 and 100 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 35 sites have electric and water hookups. 67 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $18.00 to $36.00. Some amenities include dump station, boat ramp, swimming, amphitheater, flush toilets. Activities include boating, fishing, floating sports.

we reserved sight 13 it is not for campers, or low profile cars. Since they repaved the campground they did not put a desecent for the sight so their is a tall up hill without support to get out of hte sight. It was difficult getting out everytime. I think the deer are attracting ticks. I had some and my dog was covered with them. I also had chiggers bad also. I thought the sight was empty with the previous person leaving on Sunday but Sunday night someone came in at the last minute and overstayed their sight after 4:00. so we had to wait for them to leave. We were waiting at a parking space by the restrooms and cleaning station and lots of space there for double parking and someone inquired why we were parking there.Overall our stay was miserable. I will not get a sight in that loop again because of the bug problems. Hopefully the entire camp is not loaded with ticks but they have brought in deer so it oculd be a problem. If you have a RV, low profile car or a motorhome sight 13 is not for you. Hopefully they put a transition on that sight between the seasons to get it fixed.

Very happy and will return. We are self contained so I did not use the shower house or bathrooms. The property landscape was well maintained. I love the campgrounds private beach within walking distance. And a shower to wash the sand off! The roads are newly paved. Camp sites are well spaced . Site 60. Views are amazing. We did need quite a few blocks in the rear to level. But the view made it well worth it. The sunset was gorgeous.

We got lucky enough to have a spot right by the beach! We had a nice, level paved pad with both shade and sun! Park was clean and well maintained! I wish they had more full hookups, ours only had electric, but it was still a great spot!!

Love the campground! The sites are all well kept. Bathrooms seemed brand new. Friendly folks and plenty of shade.

We would book this site again! It is a full hookup and has a good amount of shade. Great location. Nice, clean, friendly, and quiet campground! Check out the Lake Shelbyville visitor center - very helpful volunteers!

Great place to camp. All sites have a firepit, place to hang a lantern, electric hookup, and a picnic table.

The sites are well kept. The community bathrooms and showers were nice and clean. I still do not like the fact that most of your sites do not have water hookups. It does have a beach/swimming area and a marina to rent boats.

We love camping at Lithia Springs! The area has a lot to do. We love riding our bikes down to Nessie's at Lake Shelbyville Marina and also going to the beach! Great place to camp and go boating!!

Beautiful, clean campground. The sites are not on top of each other so you don't feel like your neighbor is part of your site. We love walking the roads and the swimming is decent.

We enjoyed our stay, the part of the campground we were in was beautiful. The only issue we had were all the ticks. It must be a bad year for them. Bring bug spray.
