Great campsite. Shower houses with disability access was excellent. Surprised how few people were there during the week.

This is my favorite campground. The kids love going to the beach and the playground. The basketball court is nice. The private shower houses are clean and well maintained. The water stays on continuously and the water stayed hot and never ran out. I also love the store that's available with just about anything you need! The sites are plenty spacious for our 32 ft pull behind camper. There are plenty of sites for tent camping as well along with extra parking areas for any extra guests. There's buddy sites available too. The fire pits and picnic tables at each site are nice. And i must add that there are many different types of sites as well. So if you want to be in the sun, shade, wooded, grass areas, gravel, or black top, there's options available. I recommend booking early if you want a full hookup site. Our family loves riding around the campground on our electric scooter to see all the other campers as there are many different forks in the roads that branch off to the different sections of the campground. They have the boat launch area that has many parking spaces if you have a boat. And if you are into fishing, there are areas for you to fish as well. I love the new dump station area as it is super easy and fast to get things cleaned up and the water pressure to clean things out is amazing! The gate attendant is super nice and friendly so check in was a breeze!! There's something for everyone here. We drive from over an hour away to camp here and I have yet to be disappointed in our stay here! Highly recommend!

The campground is nice and it is clean. The site we had should not have been a site leg A site 16 it was so far out of level we couldn't get our camper close to level. It felt like when the park was redone there was no thought put into leveling sites, just lay down new asphalt and we're good. Also there were premium sites empty all weekend there should be a policy of you do not show up by a certain time or make arrangements the site becomes available.

This site is wonderful for people with kids to entertain! Basketball, volleyball, bike ramp and park is located directly across from it.

Loved the campsite! The reason I rated only 3 stars is the bathrooms. We went to shower, and I opened the door to pitch blackness! There are motion sensors, but my husband had to walk more than halfway in to get them to turn on. It's very unsafe, especially for women, and I was very disheartened by the whole experience. I highly suggest this be changed, or someone could get hurt or worse.

My wife Diana and I along with our two dogs Charley and Scooter arrived and the park hostess checked us in and directed us to our camp site. We got everything set up and started relaxing after a walk around the camp area. Everything was going well The camp site was clean and ready for us. We were at the same location last year and had a very good time Diana and I will be back again maybe this year.

The campsite was very nice and well maintained. The site we chose is large and there was space between us and the neighbors. The site is shaded with mature trees. I used our shower so I cant comment on the shower house.

Site 113 is a nice large pull through site and FHU. No view of the lake but very relaxing. It needed mowing and was finally mowed our 2nd to last day there

You will love it at Coon Creak, very nice beach at the camp site and also Shelbyville very close with a big beach. oat rentals near by. Lots of good food near by. A little store called castaways right as you pull into the camp ground.

A nice site looking over the water. Good shade. The site has a moderate side slope of 3 inches. Be careful with children, the back drops off sharply to the water.

I agree with other campers that this campground is very well maintained. In particular, the showers and restrooms are in great condition. Kudos to the crew. I loved that the campground is surrounded by trees providing much needed shade for those long summer days. My campsite had great views of the sunrise and of the lake. The nearby sites are in close proximity to each other. Fortunately, fellow campers were respectful of the quiet hours. Another plus of this site is the 3/4 mile Coon Creek Nature Trail, which was nice to jog in the mornings.The only negatives are the noise from the boats and the light fixtures attached to the restroom facilities are extremely bright.

The hosts are very nice and helpful at check in. The camp ground is very clean overall and its V great to have flush toilets that are kept CLEAN. This is a popular place to launch boats but the launch site is away from the campgrounds. Overall, we would definitely go back.

Awesome campground. Clean. Many large private sites. Gate attendants are typically grouchy.
@MargaretR75440 · Camped on Aug 8, 2024 at Campsite #37
Lots if choices. Some sites need to be worked on to make them more level.

Amazing experience.. clean safe and super kid friendly!!
@LyndaBD1098BE0 · Camped on Aug 1, 2024 at Campsite #35
The sites are nice being paved. They are narrow sites. We have 3 slides so you have to try to stay to one side and be able to get your slides out. So picnic table had to be pushed to back of the site. Not much of a fire pit. Site was right across from the restrooms.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
