The park is very nice and was quiet. Check in and out was a breeze. Site 30 is a little off level, but leveling the camper was manageable. Has a nice view of the water, mostly grass, and is a spacious site. The concreate pad has quite a large step off into the grass and a big rock at the corner of the concrete and asphalt that could be a trip hazard. Bug spray is a MUST as biting flies and gnats are abundant and very annoying! If you plan to bring your dog it would be good to put them on a lead because a skunk traveled through our campsite twice. I think they live nearby.

Site #30 nice site ,enjoyed 3 days fair to good weather enjoyed 3 of the four days sunny mild temperatures till the last day turned cold all in all great time will return next year

Awesome view of the lake and great area with full hookups.The site slopes towards the lake but nothing we couldnt handle

Gun Creek is our favorite campground at Rend Lake.

Clean Beautiful Park. We were in a TT on SITE 30 and it was right on the water. We even had a little beach on our site. Concrete pad, fire pit and site were spread out and not on top of each other. The only negative is there is a highway really close and its not level and had holes in it. So you hear a lot of traffic and loud noises when they hit the holes. Kinda hard to sleep. We only stayed one night so it was ok for us, but if we were staying more we would have definately had to buy a noise machine or something because our fan would not hide the noise. BEAUTIFUL PARK THOUGH AND CLEAN right off the interstate.

Beautiful park located on the water. We've stayed here before and will stay here again if it fits our travel plans. The plus side is that it is minutes from I-57.
