On site 21 nite loop. Very difficult to get my 40 5th wheel lever, ended up with right side wheels 2 off the ground and couldnt use back set of steeps because bottom step was about 2 above grade, had to place 3 1mats at front door and still had high first step. Terrain around fire pit very unlevel, wife just had knee replacement and very scared of falling. Timbers barried created trip hazards. THIS SITE NEEDS MAjOR IMPROVEMENTS

Site 021 was pretty level nice spacing and close to the lake. Easy back in with no obstructions. Campground was very clean and orderly all around. This sit is also conveniently right across the street from the flush toilet building.

Nice campground. Nice lake. Our particular site, I believe 21 was not an ideal site. Difficult to back into, fairly unlevel for a camper with steps that need to be set flat, and the picnic table area a bit too far from camper. The site was too close to the next site, 22 especially when you see other sites so nicely spread apart.

Site 21 isnt for elderly people. Luckily we had the resources with us to build a step. Otherwise youd roll down the slope exiting the camper. And you wouldnt be able to enter the camper without the extra step. Full hookups were awesome.

Very friendly staff. The sites are too close together in some parts of the campground. A bit loud with traffic noise from the highway. Bike trail was nice with lots of wooded sections. Overall a very clean and comfortable campground.

Firewood for purchase right at the entrance to the camp grounds was the cheapest we saw. The Rend Ranger has some of the best geocaches around. The last one we found was the visitor center, unfortunately it was closed. Wish we would have gone there first.

Site 21 so washed out our steps would not hit the ground. We had to add 8 inches of wood to get in the camper. Sites have not been rocked or upgraded in past 3 years. Gunn Creek has a nice view of the lake, but all but maybe 4 sites are unlevel- and in need of rock, or blacktop. Picnic tables are old rough concrete and scratches you legs if you sit on them. and so far away from the camper. Go to Wooden tables.

Lot #21 needs parking pad widen next to picnic table. Not alot of room to exit camper on a stable surface.

Gun Creek Campground have always been well maintained and has a friendly, professional staff. There are many activities to engage in the immediate area.

Site 21 was fairly level. Close to the lake. Quiet. Close to bathroom but not bath house. Tighter footprint then other sites.
