Though the people who check you in were very nice, the place they "camp" at was terrible. Stuff everywhere, example, reclineroutside in the weather! something you'd expect at a white trash mobile home area. You can only imagine what other junk was laying about. Most of it was hidden with something that looks like it came off an old tennis court fence and not even put up well. If this was at a campsite the park ranger would have chased them out. I think it sends a wrong message to the public, it was a pig stye. Love the camp grounds

I literally felt like I was on/in the scene of a nature documentary or movie. The scenery was breathtaking. I was not annoyed by mosquitoes which was great. Truly a wonderful experience!

Stayed in site 77 with a 32 fifth wheel. You need leveling boards as the passenger side was sloped 4.5 inches lower. With leveling boards under wheels was not a problem. Would definitely recommend and stay in this site again. Park was quiet and clean. Did not use bathrooms so cant comment on those. Verizon service was great.

The campsite was mostly level and a big side yard. It also had a great view of the lake. We will definitely go back.

We stayed at Gun Creek for one night as we were heading home from a trip in the south. We wished we could have stayed longer. The sites are very nice wish paved driveways. Ours had electricity, but some have full hookups. Those sites are a little closer together than the ones with only electricity. We were close to the lake and enjoyed watching the large number of white pelicans. We were there in November, so I'm not sure if the pelicans were migrating through there or if there are resident pelicans there . We hope to return when we can spend more time there kayaking on the beautiful Rend Lake.

We had a great site, to see the lake and sunsets. Have no complaints, keep up the good work.

This is our favorite place to stay. Enjoy the people and normally everyone is friendly and helpful including fellow campers.

The fishing in this lake gets better and better every year. You can throw a night crawler on your pole and catch a big fish anywhere on this lake. Our last trip in April, I caught 6 off the bank in about an hour, they ranged from 2 lbs to 5lbs. I also caught 10 bluegill that were eatable size. We didn’t keep the fish but we enjoy the fun of the catch.

The eagles flying above and the lake view is absolutely gorgeous. We recommend you giving Rend Lake a try, you can stay anywhere on this lake and have the same experience.
