Overall, love this campground! We've been coming here for years. The shower house is really showing it's age, but my biggest issue was the standing water that's left after cleaning. If the excess water was squeegeed to the drain that would be fine.

We had a great pull through site, clean bathrooms, and generally a clean campground. We will be back for a longer stay.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Gun Creek Campground. I took my 8 & 4 year old grandkids there September 15-17 for their 1st ever camping trip. They absolutely loved the experience!! The entire campground was clean and mowed, the restrooms and shower house was clean and it was quiet at night. We will be going back in May, watching the calendar to open so I can book next year!!

Nice campground for a one night stop. Only complaint is that the showers nozzles spray in every direction but down - I tried 3 before just giving up and doing the best I could do! The campground is very pretty and we were happy to have such a nice spot at a reasonable price!

Pull throughs are very few and difficult to negotiate. Bathrooms were a little rough but reasonably clean. Beautiful setting.

There is a beach at North Marcum, hiking spots, playgrounds, plenty to do. Walmart down in Benton for necessities.

God location. Our campsite was very dirty. I put rubber gloves on and walked around picking up candy wrappers, beer caps, cigarette butts. Fire pit not cleaned out

Traveling on the interstate 57 and needed a place to sleep, shower (across from site C59) and make dinner. Location is perfectly located off the interstate on a beautiful lake. Price was right @ $18 Cardinal loop (no water) and slept like a baby. We booked it from our phone 5 min before pulling in. I will gladly pay $18 a night for a safe, quiet site with electricity and shower.

The park was very quiet and easy to get into the space and level. The only issue was the explanation on RV Parky show full hookup but the park only has electricity at the campsite. There is a place to fill your tank with water.

Gun Creek is a great place to spend a weekend, nice camp sites and a nice lake for fishing.
