Clean, quiet, lots of kids and families as well as friendly fisherman. Beautiful sites on the lake.

This is a great spot. It is definitely very unlevel and takes a bit to get the camper level, but it is right on the water and you have a large front yard leading up to the water. It was very chilly in late April, but would be a perfect location later in the year. We would definitely come back to this spot sometime in the summer or early Fall.

Site was far from level. Had to use every leveling block we had, and still were pretty tilted. Itd help a lot if the site descriptions gave information on site slope. For a quick overnight in a class B van, a level site is most welcome.

Always love Gun Creek. The water front spots always require a good deal of leveling, but even though I know that, I can't stop booking them. The view is so amazing. There are a large number of full hook ups at this park further inside the park as well. Spaces are large and loops are curved so you feel like you are just with a small group of people. This campground is not close to the Visitor Center and you have to drive there. There are bike and hiking paths and so many trees. One of our favorite places. Internet is good.

This is a beautiful park - our sight 84 lakeside was perfect and is a wonderful place to camp. Lots of bicycle riding available in the area! I would highly recommend this campground!

Site 84 is the perfect waterfront location. But keep in mind that it is at an incline. And when you look at the map it looks like its not right next to the other sites but in reality site 83 is directly next to it. But the location makes it worth it.

84 has a wide waterfront view with a large yard which is protected by riprap/large rocks. Very nice site.

Very beautiful view. Right on the water. We have an Rv so it was a bit more of an incline than we were aware of. It that was our fault.

The park is beautiful, the views are great, but some spots are not very level.

To my knowledge there are still no First come/first served sites, as they were all converted to "reserve only" during Covid.
