Just a one night stay while traveling. Clean and well maintained. If you are looking for seclusion, the sites are a tad close to each other from what I saw. Paved drives into all campsites. Some sites have a 6% grade on them, so setting up an RV to level may be a challenge for some. Solid wheel chocks are an absolute must. Interstate noise is a constant.

The campsite is easy to back into. While the site is listed as being shaded, there is only shade in the late afternoon. The site is washed out and there is no level place to put a food prep table. Majority of the sites have a paved area next to the pad, this site does not. The site overrun with ants on all sides with many ant hill clearly visible.

Lovely campground on a beautiful lake. All sites have electric and some are full hook-ups. The only downside is that many of the sites are very unlevel. They are asphalt but most have a downward slope. Despite that, we enjoyed our stay with a peekaboo view of the water at sunset.

need to bring trash dumpsters back into each camping loop, otherwise clean and quiet campground.

The weather was terrible! But, we meet here with family at least twice a year. We love Rend Lake. Gun Creek campground Islas become popular over the years and it is getting harder every year to reserve a site. Would LOVE to have water at every site.
