Grass was a little high resulting in swarms of gnats but great electric site with water right across the rrroad

I have been lucky enough to have camped here now for about eight years. The rest rooms are cleaned daily and always well supplied. They have changing tables for the little ones and a family shower if needed. There are several sites right on the lake with breath taking views. I believe all the sites are black topped and plenty of room for truck and camper. There is several choices if you want full hook up sever, water and electric.

I have never had a bad experience with unruly people camping at Gun Creek campsites. This is an outstanding place with trails for people who like to ride bikes in the woods. The fishing is great all year round from crappie to bass and catfish.

For those like me that always need something from the store. There is a Walmart Super Center 15 minutes away . If there is any motorcycle people, there is a Harley dealer in Mount Vernon a half hour away.
For those who might be looking to trade up or buy a new camper there is Larry's RV sales about a half hour trip away.

We had a tent and this place is set up exclusively for big RVs and folks with boats. There was no such detail included in the description of this campground. There was no flush toilet and we had to pay for a coin operated shower that was a mile from our campsite. Nightmare.
