The campground was really nice. We had a lake view spot. It was a quiet site. We went during the week. The bath house was nice. We will be back.

We stayed overnight on our way to Louisville; this was a very nice campground. The sites were widely spaced, the fall leaves were beautiful. There is a double sided dump site. I didnt use the showers but every shower/ bathroom has its own outside door and is private. The price is incredible for full hookups.

We chose site 48 online because it was waterfront and looked like a great location. When we arrived, we found that it provided wonderful views of the lake, but the site was sloped and would have required quite a bit of leveling for our truck camper. However, there was a ranger nearby, who told us we could switch to site 50, which was available. The views weren't quite as spectacular, but we enjoyed a glorious sunset, and the next morning, we took a very short walk through the woods next to us, to a nice beach. This campground is clean, well kept and provides beautiful views of Rend Lake. Next time we'll stay longer so we can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and see more of the lake.

Great location for travelers and water sports enthusiasts. Just off interstate, large sites with ample spacing, great hosts. Arrived weekday around 6:00 p.m. and multiple sites available.

Nice park, sites are big with a lot of grassy area, close to Garden of the gods in Shawnee national forest.

Hosts were friendly, sites and restrooms were clean. Our site was next to the water and had a gorgeous view.

We have been coming to Gun Creek for two years now and it's a nice campground, The campground is very clean, organized and well maintained. There are tons of spots that are right on the lake, with gorgeous views. We are very happy with our experiences at Gun Creek. We look forward to coming back next year.

A wonderful campground, quite in keeping with the excellent care and maintenance COE camping facilities offer! Had a beautiful waterfront site and wished I could have stayed for a week versus just one night! Will definitely be booking a site here again if possibleeven if I have to drive out of my way!

Very clean park. Good amount of room between RV sites. And full hook up as well. Clean shower and bathrooms. Just overall really nice.
