Campground hosts were very professional and helpful when I needed to extend my stay by one day. Camp sites as well as the campground, are very well maintained and clean.

We always enjoy staying at Gun Creek in the Nighthawk loop. The only downside here is that there isnt any basketball goals here. I had to drive to Benton to their park so the grandkids could play basketball. North Marcum was already closed for the season.

Loved it ! Beautiful site nice have camped there several times gate host are friendly and helpful. Paved roads and concrete pads full hook ups and water & electric hookups , clean and nice showers will be back for sure.

Great park, on lake. FHU sites, and showers. Close to interstate.

Stayed here on a Sunday night. Very quiet, clean park. We stayed in spot 13 with a 30-ft fifth wheel. Excellent spot with lots of space between campsites.

We stopped for one night at Gun Creek on the way to/from Indiana. We stayed in spot 13 on a Tuesday night and the same spot again the following Sunday. This is the third and fourth time we have stayed at this location, and we have enjoyed each visit. Very quiet, clean campground with nice evening views over Rend Lake.

We had stayed at Rend Lake previously at another COE last fall. This time we tried Gun Creek and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The park was very nice, clean and well kept. Our site was just what we expected and we had a good view too. It was not right on the water, but we could see the lake down the road. I would certainly recommend staying here and we are this way again we probably will.

The Gun Creek campground is awesome. Our site was very level so setup was easy. We did see campsites near the water that might require more leveling effort. Saw a lot of wildlife behind our site and while driving in and out. We had a full hookup site so we did not use the dump station. We liked the cement patio area with cement picnic table. No tracking sand/mud into the trailer. Would stay again if in the area
