This campground is spacious but the facilities arent maintained all that well. Also it is infested with ticks. I get it being outside means there will be ticks but I was pulling several off of me each day here and that was on days I never left my site. I would be willing to go back if they could spray for ticks some. It was pretty bad. Also the chiggers are horrible here as well. Not as serious since they dont carry diseases

Enjoyed our weekend, with one minor hiccup, as there was a mud dobber nest in the 50amp receptacle. We were able to use the 30amp until the technician was able to replace it early next morning. Thank you for the quick response.

We love Gun Creek on Rend Lake In southern Illinois. Always, clean, well-managed. Only minor complaint...some of the sites aren't level. Doesn't affect us much since our RV is small but I have seen some 5th Wheels and motor homes jacked way up in the front so make their units level.ey - how about making the print in this survey a little larger so I don't have to get my nose right up to my screen in order to read your questions and my comments!!!
