The site was just a little uneven from side to side. Other than that very nice spot, with plenty of shade.

Campsites are spaced nicely so you dont have someone right next to you. Staff is friendly. The public bathrooms have some issues. Ive seen toilets and drains overflowing from toilets being flushed so we try to avoid going to those but other than that we really like camping there

Everyone is so nice & helpful in any way needed. Campground host (Mike & Jo ) go above and beyond in anything that you need. Mike has the tools and experience to help with most camper issues or he knows who to call to get help. Rick at the gate always does what he can if you need to change sites or weekends. The only issue is the need for more parking at the campground for boat trailers. The lake is a great catfish lake. They always have good programs at the visitor center.

Site was nice. Facilities were as expected. Nice large picnic table. Good playground for small kids. Disappointed that the volleyball net was not put on poles. Also down the 1st loop of campsites a group occupied 2 or 3 sites. They took up all parking spots at nearby bathrooms. Then set up their own fire pit area in the space they should have parked. Therefore the group would overhang into road. Individuals literally had to get up move their lawn chairs when cars came through. Park Rangers should see the issue & have it corrected without others needing to complain about it. This & missing vb net was our biggest disappointments and complaints.

The Lake is very good for fishing. The visitor center is always putting on very educational programs for kids. You will want to travel to Sesser for ice cream at the Custard Stand. Benton is not to far away if you need supplies.( Walmart-Rural King)

Nice sized lot with lots of privacy. Shaded most of the day. This will be our 3rd trip to Rend Lake Campground.
