This is one of our favorite places to camp. Sites are great size. Bath house I close to all sites. We really had no neighbors and woods outside the door and picnic area. Short walk to the lake and the paved biking trails are amazing. Though we have no kids the playground we could see the kids having a blast.

Pine tree Site 176 is a fantastic site. It has full hook-ups, is a level pull through pad with a little more privacy than other sites. Its across from the playground but that was not a problem while we were there. We enjoyed the site for 12 days.

Love that the campground is increasing full hook-up sites. The bike trails are a definite plus. Wish the sites were further apart. Overall, one of my favorite ACOE campgrounds.

Site 174. Nice pull through full service site. Only downside is being directly across from the playground which was quite loud even late into the evening. Showers and restrooms clean, definitely my favorite loop in South Sandusky.

We enjoyed our campsite very much. Great view and great weather! Although, I love dogs I wish the dogs didn't bark so much, disturbs the tranquility of such a beautiful place. We had this problem last time we stayed in Pine Tree as well.

The sites are very roomy. The area is kept clean and mowed. Bath/shower house is new and well kept. The area is beautiful.

Loved our spot with a path right to the water, under the pine trees, and across from the playground! Perfect place! Saw deer and raccoons, fished, rode bikes & geocached!

Great campground. Very clean and well kept. Nice large sites and plenty of room in between. Fire rings, grills and picnic tables are in excellent condition. This is a beautiful area. There are very nice walking and bike paths. The beaches are large, clean and very nice. I would stay there again and I would recommend this park highly. A great place to take your family.

We camp at Rend Lake several times a year. We are particularly fond of South Sandusky and Pine Tree. We extended this stay for an extra day. Love the pine tree smells. The sites are well kept and plenty of room.

Once again, a wonderful stay at South Sandusky, 147 Pine. We were blessed with great weather. We will be back in the Spring. There was a camper cleaning company there and we got our fifth wheel cleaned and waxed, awesome.

The beach is free with the campground tag.The bike/walking path is a great way to see the flora and fauna.
