Site #50 is fantastic. It's a pull through site that is level and right on the lake shore.The entire campground is well maintained, clean and quiet. I've stayed here several times and have never been disappointed.The camp attendants do a great job keeping the restrooms clean and stocked with toilet paper. And having a private shower/toilet area is really convenient.

Great, well maintained campground close to home! We would like to see more full hookup (EWS) sites available for reservations.

The folks at the check-in station are very very accommodating, the site was paved and on the lake, everything is clean and neat, the camp sites are large.

I absolutely love camping here. Our site was on the water (although too much sun). The hosts were great. The only complaint is it is almost impossible to reserve a site. I was trying to reserve a full-hookup site over the July 4th holiday and hit the "book" button right at 9:00am and it was already reserved by someone else. I'm not sure how these people are doing this but something doesn't seem fair. I tried to reserve several times on different days with no luck. Also, while the FCFS sites are great there are too many of them. Who is going to drive a couple of hours "hoping" to get a site and they are all taken? I think there should be more sites at Dam West. It's a popular place to be!
