Great place on the river -- saw 5 tows go through the #14 lock which is close to camp -- clean place with low water pressure in the showers but the water was the right temp. -- I/we will be going back -- Voulonteers are the best!!

Beware of mayfly hatch last week of June to 1st week of July. Unimaginable for 2 nites next to main river. Slough sites better. Sites were great with river views. Great clean park. Ill be back just at different time of season

One of our favorite campgrounds! The park is well maintained and the sites are clean and level. The sites along the river are a little tight but we still had plenty of room and a great sunset!

Love this location- one of our favorites. Only downside is the new check in/check out times. Noon is too early.

We were only there for 2 nights but would have enjoyed the view of the river and sunsets for much longer. The 50 amp connection was stable & uninterrupted, which was great because we needed both AC units as the temps were in the 90s.We also liked the way the sites are layed out with a decent amount of space. And the shade of the mature trees made sitting outside on the concrete patio enjoyable.We brought water onboard, but we noticed several hydrants that we could have used for fresh water. Finally, the dump station on the way out could facilitate at least 3 rigs at the same time.The only minor inconvenience was that we were unable to check in on the phone, as the phone in the ranger booth at the entrance was not working.

My husband and I spent four nights with another couple, relaxing by the Mississippi River. The park was quiet and well maintained. We will be back.

This was our first time we went to Thomson Causeway . The park was very clean, bathrooms were clean, no matter what time of day . Park staff is friendly and always willing to help. I would recommend this park to anyone who likes the outdoors.
