We had a 3 night stay in late September with beautiful weather and good fishing. This was the cleanest and best maintained BLM campground we have stayed in and includes the vault toilets. Campground hosts were outstanding !!!

The river is beautiful and most of the campsites on the side next to the river have a path to the water. Most campsites have a nice grassy area and the back-in sites have a nice buffer of trees between sites that provide privacy and some noise reduction. If you have a pull-through site or are next to the highway, you won't have much privacy. There is considerable noise from the highway - the logging trucks start coming down the hill around 3am and use their jacob brakes right next to the campground. Bring earplugs! The upgrades done in 2023 are not obvious - new electrical panels are the only clue. There is still just one Wifi hotspot across from the camp host. It was nice to have our own water faucet, but it could not be hooked up to our camper because the threads were filed off of the faucet.

Campground is great. The host couple was very friendly and informative. Scenery is beautiful, water and power at every site was super handy. The website to book is a joke, and dont expect to easily be able to make changes to your reservation.

This trip there was no water hookup.. drained for winter. We had a full tank on board tho. On previous stays I wish a different reservation cancellation policy was in place. If you could fully refund weekend cancellations if given 12 hours notice, the campers looking for a spot could be accommodated. If a camper wants to leave early, give them a full refund if they let the camp host know they are leaving. Both examples could be dependent on someone filling that spot. Very nice campground… clean and easy access to trails and the river.

Very clean bathrooms and campground. We stay here at least 2-3 times a year. Summer and hunting season

We loved our time at Huckleberry Park. The spaces were so nice with your own private grass area, picnic table and fire ring. All was very clean and friendly hosts were available.

This was one of the best public campgrounds we have been to. The camp host and his wife have done an incredible job in this place. The sites are so clean and well maintained. Restrooms freshly painted and clean. Not to mention the natural beauty of the campground is unparalleled. Would love to come again.

One of our favorite campgrounds! This site however has lots of mosquitos because of the stagnant standing water and the thick brush next to it. The electricity cut off and on and it was 100 degrees out!!! The voltage needs improvement-we had to run our frig on propane and run our generator nonstop.

This was our first visit to this particular campground and we loved it! beautiful place right on the St. Joe and the campground and facilities were extremely clean and well kept. I think this is one of Idaho's best and we will be back again several more times this year.

Great campground! Clean and well taken care of. The river is beautiful, great for floating, kayaking, and fly fishing.
