Huckleberry Campground in Kootenai County is located 1 hr 36 min southeast of Coeur d'Alene, ID with an elevation of 2,232 feet. There are a total of 31 campsites. The campground is normally open from mid January to the end of December. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers up to 40 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. All sites have electric and water hookups. Fees range from $23.00 to $31.00. Activities include fishing.

My family and I were very pleasantly surprised by how nice Huckleberry Campground was. It's clear the camp hosts take great pride in keeping everything clean. The vault toilets were the nicest I've ever seen. They didn't even smell bad inside. The setting -- right on the banks of the St. Joe -- is beautiful, and the campground is surpassingly well cared for. Thank you.

Just a all around great campsite the camp host and his wife are the most friendly people and will help you with any needs you may have. I would recommend this to anyone at any age.

This is by far our favorite campground in North Idaho for fly fishing, river access, and overall great outdoor experience. The camp hosts are super great - there when you need something, but when you want privacy. Cant beat it!!

Camp ground was very nice and well maintained. Most spots are well spaced apart Some of the pull through are shorter than they say. Fire pits are a bit close. Big Downside is that it is really close to the highway and during the week there is lots of noise and you can here the logging truck go by 4am.

Incredibly clean, sites were groomed and spacious. Easy access to St. Joe. Love the cozy, artistic touches painted by one of the friendly camp hosts. Beautiful location.

The restrooms were not only spotless and well stocked, they actually smelled pleasant!Campsites were clean and the grass watered. The camp attendants were pleasant and helpful.

My family and I booked a four night stay at Huckleberry in August and I had all intentions of walking trails, going to TFP's in Avery or spending time elsewhere but what I ended up doing was enjoying the river right from our campsite the entire time! Kids caught frogs and jumped off the rocks on the other side of the river while I enjoyed the grassy hill and painting rocks around the campfire. Spot so good you don't need to go anywhere else! Will return for sure.

Way to expensive! We paid less at South Rim Grand Canyon for full hook-up!The location is great, right on the river, camp hosts' keep it very clean, toilets especially clean and the grass nicely mowed.Warning of the log truck starting at 4:00 AM, very loud and a lot of them.

Campground is very clean. Sites have green grass and are well trimmed. Hosts show much pride in their facility. Campground advertises Wi-Fi but it only works on either end.

Make sure to spend some time wading in the river. Sitting a folding chair in the river is also very enjoyable.First week of August, the River was a bit low to raft from the bridge back to the campground without a fair amount of paddling in the last half of the run. July would be better. Camp hosts were very helpful and friendly.
