Wonderful spot! Wish I had been able to book more days here. The river was pleasant to swim in and the trail was a nice short run

Some how the same people are staying way beyond the 14 days! We met people at beach said they been there all summer! I dont know if they are switching sites to other family or other rvs but we have seen many Russian familys that have like 8 sites in one loop and they are altogether and we were there for week of the 4th for 6 days and then came back Aug 17 -21st and 4 of the same families were there again and they stayed for full 14 days so they shouldnt have been back! Its getting harder and harder to get sites and somehow many have figured out how to cheat the system and are getting several sites and staying beyond the 14 day stay! We usually come 3 to 4 times for 3-4 nights for 12 plus years and we only got 2 camping times in this summer due to all this cheating the system thats going on! Hopefully you are aware and put a stop to it to give others a fighting chance at a site for a few days!

The trip was excellent as usual. Friendly staff again this year. We made a recommendation I hope follows thru. They need to put in book exchange boxes. There are a lot of readers when you walk around and we were given a book when we were talking to other campers. These book exchange boxes work good in the parks around home and we are sure they would work in parks like Riley Creek. We suggested putting them near the 2 main restrooms as they could be under cover and out of the weather as well as in central locations. We hope they follow thru.

Riley Creek is our favorite campground for family get togethers or catching up with friends. It has something for everyone, is very clean, and the camp hosts and rangers are helpful and friendly. We just wish that there was a % of sites saved for Idaho residents. Nothing against Washington State, but every time we are there a very large percentage of the campers are from there. It makes it hard for Idahoans to get reservations.

Great campground! Densely wooded and good fishing all the way around the peninsula. Very clean! Kid, dog, boat/kayak friendly! Noise from nearby lumberyard could be heard ALL night long-
