Just a beautiful campground! Perfectly maintained in a wonderful setting. The surrounding grounds are a pleasure to visit. We especially enjoyed doggy Island. The host was super friendly and accommodating. One of the nicest spots we stayed on a month long trip.

Beautiful campground, well maintained with all the amenities you can image. A couple small complaints are the noisy freeway across the bay if you're staying on the north side of the campground. Also, driveways are a bit narrow. I'm about 52 ft. with my fifth wheel and maneuvering into our spot was a minor challenge. I would definitely revisit Riley Creek, but maybe try to get a site on the south side towards the lake to avoid the freeway noise.

I was very impressed with what this park had to offer. There is an enormous playground for children, that my two grandchildren truly enjoyed. A sandy beach, that is cleaned and raked every night. Excellent boat launch and parking for tow vehicles and trailers. The campsites are also all so amazing. Well maintained and spaced. Most important, were the volunteer campground hosts. All were very friendly and helpful. There are several, dumpsters for garbage. The bathrooms were very clean, with hot showers. I look forward to staying here again.

This campground has large flat sites. Even in July campfires were allowed. The off leash area on Doggie Island is large and shaded. We liked the trails along the river.

Riley is a fantastic place to camp. However, due to the abundance of electric scooters and electric bikes being constantly driven on campground roads and walking paths, you take your life in your hands if you are a pedestrian. There are no speed limit signs within the campground and the scooters & bikes are driven at top speeds, around curves, often by children who aren't savvy enough to have full control their device. We see many near misses every year. It is scary.

Always a highlight of summer to be able to spend time at Riley Creek Campground. We love the fact that we can leave poor kayaks in the cove for the duration of our stay enabling us to go out several times a day with little effort. The camp sites are always clean and manicured and offer the perfect setting to get away from it all. The trails are great for dog walking and sure seeing. The camp hosts were exceptional and although we had to leave a day ahead of schedule due to an issue at home, we planned to just donate the extra day's fee but by the time we arrived home that day they had already credited us for the day we could not use. An exception stay, to say the least.

This was such a fun campground to visit, especially if you love watersports. The grounds and facilities were in great condition. The camp hosts were on top of things and did a wonderful job of keeping the bathrooms and sites looking good.

We love Riley Creek! Its one of our most favorite places to camp. The thing we noticed this year especially, was that getting in to a camp site was so much harder, and then there were multiple spaces open (at least 6) where people didnt cancel and didnt show up. There needs to be stronger no show policies.

A very well kept campground. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Restrooms are clean. The beach area is great for the whole family. We enjoy our annual family camping trip at Riley creek each year.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
