Oddly, growing up in Spokane, I had never been to Riley Creek before. The campground was very clean And the employees were friendly and helpful. I will most definitely be back soon!
Oh! My dog loved Dog Island!!

Riley Creek is one of our favorite camping spots. The camping spots are spread out enough that you are not on top of other campers, the sites are large and easy to back into and the restrooms/showers are always clean and well maintained. The boat launch and large swim area are also wonderful. There is a good play area for young children and horseshoe pits for the adults. Lots of trails to walk and beautiful views of the river. And if you forgot to bring something you are not too far from either Sandpoint or Priest River to get what you need. It's a lovely place and we try to make it there at least once a year if not several times.
