Tom our camp host was amazing! From his kindness to his knowledge of the fishing in the area we really appreciated his time. We even watched him help some teens with their fishing set ups. As always, the campground was amazing. Will be returning for years to come

We enjoyed staying at Riley Creek. Large, clean sites with some privacy from other sites. Enjoyed walking along the water, especially on Dog Island.

Riley Creek is a very well kept campground! I was quite impressed! This was a very last-minute decision (and I'm sure we probably just got lucky to find an opening) but the people who planned the development of this campground thought of EVERYTHING! Lot's to do (basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, ampitheatre, rentable shelters, a BEAUTIFUL beach--with outside showers to rinse off afterwards, even a "doggie island"! The camp host/ranger did not harass us at all (as they do sometimes in other campgrounds) and allowed us to truly enjoy the view, being outdoors, and the entirety of our trip. The ONLY suggestion I would make is to the developers of the campground and that suggestion would be to allow access to the water in a few other locations in addition to the beautiful beach! The way it is set up now with the boulders along the entirety of the shoreline forces all visitors to one location (which I do understand for control and cleanliness purposes); however, since the campground is on a peninsula and you are surrounded with water in both sides--why not allow a couple of places to access the water on the "back side". I loved "doggie island" but not more than one dog can actually swim there sunce it is a small access area.
Provide a second "doggie area" on the back side and allow your guests to choose if they prefer to swim with their animals. Obviously, I have an animal who loves to swim so I was not able to enjoy the beautiful beach access. Bring in another area (or two) of sand and remove a portion of those boulders! I would enjoy floating or swimming WITH or WITHOUT my animal. We managed just fine and I LOVE the place but found those boulders to limit my ability to utilize the water (I cannot leave my dog unattended at my campsite). Give me the right to choose and also lessen the number of people on the main beach!
