Small campground, rather. No staff onsite. Didnt love the spot since there was quite an odor either from the pond or restrooms. Restroom facilities were clean.

We have been coming to Albany Cove for many years. Rarely do we have any problems. Its a great place to camp at. The camp site wasnt cleaned up before we came which was a disappointment. Its still a great place to camp.

It is a charming, clean campground with lots of shady and sunny places. The beach is great with a long curved area for hanging out. The sites are not too close together. We will go back!

No complaints about the campground hosts, they were very nice, but site #2 is too sloped for an RV, even with leveling blocks. Plus, youre sharing the driveway and close proximity to site #3. We immediately left without staying.

Really great beach, we stayed along the water and took paddle boards loaded with gear to and from the beach. It closer to true sand than the tiny pebbles common at lake beaches in this area. Some water sites are more sunny, so if it is hot I would stay further back where there is plenty of shade. There is only one bathroom and it can be kinda far from some sites, so keep that in mind. overall really loved this site and the beach, would definitely stay again.

This is a beautiful campground and very well-maintained. I didnt have my kayak with me but will bring it next time to paddle the cove. There is a super swimming area with a nice beach. We had a great time at Albeni Cove!

Beautiful views, spacious camp sites, clean and great swim beach.

We stayed in Site 14 one night, only electric hookup. Plenty of room for a 26 trainer and truck. Private, lovely trees. We absolutely loved it, a gorgeous site overlooking the beach and Pend Orellie River. The beach was lovely, swimming area very nice, sandy bottom w/ no weeds. No dogs allowed on beach. Boat launch was very nice. Clean toilets and showers. Camp hosts were welcoming.

Good campground. Just know dogs aren't allowed on the beach and they're not allowed to be unattended at campsites

A great place to camp with little kids. Campground is well maintained, we will definitely be returning!

Site 13 was a bit too close to the house next to the park. They were a little loud.

Loved our night here, close to the water, great view, quiet. We were there off season, but it was delightful.

Our family vacation was spent at Albeni Cove with 18 of us present. What a wonderful, safe place for kids to swim, fish, play, explore. The adults had just as much fun! Thank you for providing a clean, inexpensive, safe area for families and friends to gather! The camp hosts were active, polite, and helpful!

Albeni Cove has been a family favorite for swimming for many years but this was the first time weve camped there. Everything was ready upon check-in, friendly hosts came right down to give instructions, and restrooms were fairly clean throughout our stay. Our only issue was that our site (#2) really isnt built for longer RVs despite it being listed on Recreation.gov as good for RVs up to 40ft. The main issue is that sites 1 and 2 share the same pull through, but unless you both arrive and leave at the same time, its difficult to get into Site 2. Backing in (if you can with the narrow entry and sharper turn) places your door on the wrong side. Going in from the front (easiest option) means you will be blocked in once someone occupies Site 1. With our 31ft trailer we were struggling to back in and therefore opted to drive the wrong way on the one-way road to get to site 2 (which is also only doable while no one is in site 1). Host was helpful in giving us suggestions for getting into the site but did say she was hoping Recreation.gov would be changing the listing for the sites size limit. We would suggest that as well.

Caught all the fish; not recommended unless you like to catch & release like I did!

Well maintained campground, quiet place with nice views.
@KarenJ9033248 · Camped on Aug 30, 2023 at Campsite #6
Wonderful little campground but be aware that sites 11 - 13 require you to carry your stuff downhill or boat in to those campsites right on the lake. Campsite 14 has electricity and a gorgeous view but is a lot way from the restroom. Very nice beach and boat launch. (No dogs on beach but they can play in the water by the boat dock). At campsites 8 & 9 you can tie up your boat at your campsite but they are also pretty close together - bring a friend. No hiking trails but Bead Lake is nearby and is a beautiful lake to hike or boat. Wish it did not close so early! Lots of retired seniors would enjoy it in the Fall. Very nice helpful hosts.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
