Bring water with you, the water is brown from the faucets. Bring wood. I didn’t see anywhere to purchase any except down the road at a private home. Bring a broom and a rake because the entire campsite was covered in deer droppings. At least 8 piles in the direct center of the site. The table was covered with debris. The attendant didn’t come by until day two I didn’t see him at all then he told me we had to pay 10 dollars a day for our second car which makes this campground with undrinkable water, only the cold water working in the bathroom, a poop covered dirty campsite with garbage in the fire ring a whopping 38 dollars a day. The attendant told us he was tired of it and ready to retire after this year and it was apparent. He also said his boss lets him work half the day and be done. I would say if you have an rv it’s fine. I guess. There are better campgrounds for less money all over the area. Day use is probably Great there are many tables in the shade near the beach some with grills and some without. The lake is pretty. The walking path is nice it leads to a little museum and follows the beach as long as you want to go. Also you can walk to hills if you like fancy dinners or lunches.

I really Iike this campground. It’s not fancy but that keeps the luxury campers away lol. It has flush toilets and water spigots. The lake is close by and there are LOTS of wonderful trees. I like that.
