Kit Price has been recently renovated. There are now paved roads and paved sites. Some sites have a large shelter or pavilion built over picnic tables. Some sites are rated as doubles and cost a double amount. There were water hydrants spaced around.
Unfortunately, the map is out of date and is not accurate. Sites on the inner circle have no access to the river except by going through the sites that are positioned along the outside of the circle. There are very few trees left since they removed the. The weeds were five feet tall. Even if you walked through an empty site to attempt access to the river, the weeds were so tall and thick that it was almost impossible to get down there. In the afternoon were were getting bit by black flies so we had to load up with bug spray.
