absolutely love this campground! The camp hosts were amazing and wonderful!! Love that the place is open again and love that they're putting the shelter structures in since all the trees were cut down! very disappointed that the group site in loop A that was right on the river is no longer reservable...every year we had a large group coming up in late June early July and one of our group would reserve this site so that we all had a meeting place large enough for many near the river...this year we were unable to obtain the site...the people that were in the site were very rude and nasty. Absolutely uncalled for and nasty! please put that site back for reservation.

Clean-up of the entire campground was in progress, so some forest “refuse” in many campsites, but otherwise, nice place. I liked the easy river access from each loop (to go fishing or to just go hang out at the river). I was a little surprised about being able to have a campfire given the overall conditions, but I guess that’s Idaho.

Also, the directions to get there (on the website) are a little off. You need to stay to the left on FS 9 at Murray/ Pritchard and not head right towards Murray/ Thompson Pass.

The camp site was clean and neat, along with the bathrooms and the whole park. The host was the the most friendliest and helpful person I have met on my camping experiences. Fred(the host) was by everyday making sure we were O K and then would go on his way to inspect the facilities. Wonderful man.
