One of my favorite early spring and fall camp trips. Quiet. Usually clean and well kept. This is not a full service campground so the campers are much better prepared to camp lots of remote hiking, biking.

First time in 15 years of camping there that there was no ice available. If this is the new norm, please email all reservations to let them know. Also still not happy that the parking at beach is no longer included in campsite fee.

It was the first time I went camping as a legal adult (turning 18 a few months back) and it was a pretty good experience. Our site was beautiful and all the sites were spaced out a lot. The beach was clean and not a lot of people. It was different than other campsites I've been to so there was a bit of a learning curve to figure some stuff out, but it turned out okay. Only downsides was that our loop ran out of wood so we had to drive into town to get some. Also not a big fan of the vault toilets and no showers, but it was manageable and the facility was generally kept pretty clean.

This was my first time at this campground, I really liked that the sites were spaced apart a decent amount. We will be back.
