I would suggest that if you are able to drive in and see if one of the first come first serve sites are available to do so. We made a reservation, and the camp site was backward to our camper (we should have noticed that from the picture). We moved to a FCFS site and it was wonderful. Bring hiking gear because the tails are wonderful into Northouse Dunes. Very limited cell service so plan to have to walk to the beech to get it. We found better connections on the foredune.

Very nice campground! It was somewhat clean. You have to be aware that this campground is about 15 minutes from any civilization. And, the beach more than makes up for that. Truly spectacular and well worth getting away from it all!

Beautiful campground! All sites are nestled amongst mature trees decently spread out. Trails surround the campground leading you to a gorgeous beach on Lake Michigan! Even though this is a rustic campground, it’s totally worth it. We will be back next year!

The campground was nice, but the site we were on was cramped even for our small 18' travel trailer. There were trees to close to the pad, so we couldn't put out our awning. I tried to move over, but the camp host was right there telling me my tires had to stay on the asphalt, I hadn't even gotten unhooked yet.
