Beautiful forest, beautiful dunes, beautiful camping ground and beautiful beach! If you are thinking about it... go! You won't want to leave! We did 3 nights of camping (5 days) and cried all the way home because we wanted to extend our stay. It was our first time ever camping and we chose to do it here. Btw the couple managing the camp ground at oak loop are incredible humans and so welcoming! We came all the way from redford Michigan. It was a long 4 1/2 hour drive but soooo worth it. We will be back!

Beautiful park along Lake Michigan. Campsites well spread out and easy access to trails and beach.

Very nice campground and it's apparently somewhat unknown. Access to the beach is very good. The campsites are large and the campground personnel were very helpful. It's a little primitive with pit toilets and only one place to get water on our loop. There is a deck at the lake with benches, great for watching the sun set. And there is good hiking and biking. Bagged ice is available 24 hours in the second loop from Lake Michigan. We would stay again.
