The campsite was clean, and the bathrooms were well-maintained. The bathroom down the hill was clogged, which was the only complaint. Other than that, it was a beautiful area. We enjoyed our time, and everyone was friendly.

Camp hosts are amazing!!! They went above and beyond our expectations once again!!! Clean bathrooms, sites, and they were always there if we needed anything... our go to getaway!!!

I thought the campground itself was wonderful. The campsite was accommodating, the bathrooms were clean, and there were trash bins and water available. The one big drawback was the loud music playing until 2am and loud talking at 4am. While I realize this is a reflection on the people themselves and not directly on the campground, the camp steward should have done something about this problem.

Nicely laid out campground. Sites are clean and well maintained. Bathrooms have flush toilets. Running water spigots throughout.

It was inconvenient that the only bathroom available for campsite #27 was almost at the bottom of the hill.

Be prepared for all weather types. We were there on 05/16/2021 camping in our trailer. We had rain, hail & snow all within a few short hours. Felt bad for the campers in tents. Great campground.

Loved site 27! The campground is well maintained, clean and our particular site had ample shade. The sites have a lot of distance between them as well! I love that the restrooms were near and they were also extremely clean. Campers were friendly, quiet and respectful on the nights we were there. Just a note though, the camp hosts were not present on Monday but the Forest Service truck came through and answered all of our questions. Lots of hiking right from the campground and Upper Lee Meadows is 1.5 mile walk to see wild horses graze. If you reserve one of the higher number campsites, be prepared to walk a lot of hills and be conscious that the pavement gets hot and dogs paws do too. I saw a lot of pitter patting of dogs walking in the heat of the day and their owners didn't even notice smh. We visited in the middle of July and the weather was about 88 in the day and 58 at night. Perfect because Vegas was 106! During the day we experienced iridescent mini black beetles flying all around and landing on us (they don't bite) but at night, nothing, no bugs at all not even a gnat! All in all a great getaway and close to Vegas!
