Site has a great view and close to the restrooms. Very quiet with the occasional foot traffic.

Fantastic views. Close to the bathrooms but hardly noticeable. Solid site with good views. The tent area is perfect for when you unzip the door in the morning and see that beautiful valley. Not a lot of shade at this campsite though, so be prepared in summer.

When we arrived at our reserved campsite some one else was in our spot. They had a payment receipt and it did not appear to have been a reserve sign on the site. We went to talk to camp host but there wasn't one. Field office was closed and calling recreation.gov put us on a 30 minute wait to talk to someone. We ended up just driving home and we still haven't received a refund.

The campsite is pretty nice, wonderful view and clean. But the only downside is there is no host/security to keep the campsite in order. There’s this group of people who came to the campsite at 8:00pm busting there music and partying until 2:30am!! We went to their site at 1am to ask nicely if they can lower there music down since its already late we want to rest and have a good sleep too but they didnt listen they were very disrespectful to lower there music for 10 mins and turned it up again. They even peed near our campsite even if the bathroom is just 2 mins away. They woke up at 7am and they begin yelling! Very disrespectful people. We went to hilltop to get away from the busy city of vegas but it turned out to be the worst camping that we ever had we packed up our things the next morning with no sleep and very stressed out because of those people. Hilltop is a very nice camping site but other people sadly made it as a party place.

Great location and good cell service (Verizon). Everything about Hilltop campsites are ALL amazing 🤩! I wished there were running water (flushing toilets 🚽) tho…still worth the adventure.

Great view, very clean and looking forward to coming back. We had site 17, towed our 19' Jayco trailer up there. As pointed out, trailers longer than 25 foot not recommended and someone else suggested it could easily be recommended less than that. I would agree, we were able to back in and level but if we were much longer it might have been hard to unhitch given where the slop of the space would have been, let alone manoeuvring around the campground. We were able to get T-mobile service quite consistently and even managed to hotspot for Netflix on the laptop at bedtime. Will certainly be back!

Camp site was clean and ready for us. There were no issues during our 2-night stay. Stargazing was awesome. We cant wait to get back!

Our first time back since all the renovations. Everything is new: Picnic Tables, Grills, fire rings, most of the walkways, new road surfaces and driveways, and new latrines...but no water. The campsite is amazing, if you can by on the water you bring.
Spotty internet/cellular service, which is still better than other campgrounds in the area that are completely off the grid when it comes to communications. We will be back. It's not recommended for Trailers or RVs over 25' and that is a solid recommendation, I might even cut it off at 20 feet.
