Nice campground. Only 1 trail around the lake and it was overgrown so we could not hike. No one at the beach on Memorial weekend. Found 4 snakes in the grassy areas of the beach and 1 at the edge of the water. Not much to do except walk the loop of our campground. Enjoyed the weekend but it won't make it to our top 10 Indiana campgrounds. The host, Bobby, was super friendly.

It's a nice facility, hosts very friendly, everything very clean. It's a shame there's no campsites on the lake, but I suppose they'd be subject to flooding. The only issue we had is that *so many* of the sites were double sites and many of the available sites were sloped enough that we'd be unable to level our van. This is not a problem we've had before, and we did find one we could manage, but mostly because there were a lot available.

Pros:-Bathrooms were super clean. -Individual showers w/ hot water! -Campsites were close but secluded enough to feel comfortable. -Everyone was quiet and respectful -The staff was amazing! (We checked in late and I received a call with great directions on how to find the park from one of the staff members!)-About 30 minutes away from Holiday World. We opted to stay here because 2 nights cost less than one night at a hotel. Con: -No cell service. (Some might call that a pro, LOL!)-The closest Walmart was a half hour away. Overall, we had a great experience and the cons are more minor inconveniences. Id stay here again.

We stayed in site Jack Pine 21, the drop-off from the pad to the patio is too severe, it's dangerous and should be addressed.
The campground is beautiful but be careful when you select your site, some of the parking pads have dramatic slopes and would be difficult to level.
