Tipsaw Lake is a great place for a small and quiet weekend get away. The park is quiet, well kept and clean. Set back in a small but beautifully wooded area, Tipsaw offers reasonable access to a small lake and beach / picnic area which give you access to opportunities to fish and swim and also kayak or canoe. The RV spaces offer plenty of room to set up and enjoy the area as well. Rv'ers remember to bring your blocks, as many of the RV sites will have you needing to brace your units to level. All in all, a very nice place to visit.

We always enjoy our family camping trip at Tipsaw. The beach was lovely. Hiking trails are kept in good condition. Camp site was clean and the host and hostess were very friendly and there to help if any problems occurred

Nicely structured camp ground with good privacy. A very relaxing location with friendly staff. Not a lot of activities in this area and the facilities could use some updating.

This is a nice park and the spots are private. However, the showers are cold and when asked management about it was told they won't be fixed.

Nice campground. Only 1 trail around the lake and it was overgrown so we could not hike. No one at the beach on Memorial weekend. Found 4 snakes in the grassy areas of the beach and 1 at the edge of the water. Not much to do except walk the loop of our campground. Enjoyed the weekend but it won't make it to our top 10 Indiana campgrounds. The host, Bobby, was super friendly.

We love camping at Catbrier. It is a small loop to be able to see your kiddos ride bikes at all times and there is an extra field by the shelter house for some good kick ball or baseball games.

I had a nice 3-day stay. The campground was very well maintained. The host was very helpful helping me get a campsite. The only negative was I was unable to find a dump station when exiting.

Camping loop we were in was a muddy mess with very unstable ground. The bathhouses had water that was barely warm enough to step in without gasping for air but were clean. Lots of hiking in the area.

Quiet, beautiful park in the JackPoint Loop. Wonderful and helpful camp hosts, Jeremy and John. Clean showerhouse. Just wish the water was hotter. I cannot say enough about Jeremy and John. They were amazingly helpful for this solo female camper! Will definitely be back.

Really is a great place to stay for a weekend, but not for two weeks. the dump station is five miles away so if you have an extra vehicle and a heavy duty portable tank to run back and forth it's okay. You can make it last longer by using the outhouses at daytime. The showers are not heated.

Once we got settled, the site was nice and big. But when we first got there I was disappointed because online it said the site was a pull thru, level and paved. It was none of the above. The park needs to update their site information.

Dogwood 34 is a great spot with a few caveats. The spur has a slight incline before leveling off so backing into the spot is a little "blind" for your back up camera until it levels out. The site is right next to the trail for beach access to the lake so be comfortable with people occasionally walking next to your site. It's location "around the bend" and just past the top of the hill on Dogwood Loop means cars at night shine their headlights directly into your campsite. A momentary annoyance to be sure. The site slopes down quite a bit from the parking spur but is mostly level once you get there. Nice not to have neighbors on the one side. My only concern would be if it rains as the water is going to flow straight across the site. Other than that, a highly recommended spot.

Tipsaw Lake is a hidden gem. The campground was perfect for our set up. It was quiet and with the thick forestation, you didn't even really know you had neighbors. The Lake House was clean and the lake was peaceful and enjoyable. I think out favorite part of our stay was the hosts. Janet and Bobby were amazing. They made sure we had everything we needed. They even gave a little gift to the kids as we left. We will be back just because of them.

Great secluded feel to this place with tons to do in the area Camp hosts Bobby and Janet are wonderful. They keep the place clean and we'll organized and are ready to assist you with answering any questions. They really do go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

Incurred an additional cost at the gate of $8.00 for a second vehicle. Reservation site (recreation.gov) indicates that two (2) vehicles are allowed per site. No mention of the additional cost for the 2nd vehicle. They inform you at the gate, just are you're trying to check in. Showers had no hot water, but the sinks did. Sewage Dumpsite is 2.5 miles from the campground. Host and Hostess were very nice and helpful with our issue at the campsite.**NOTE** While walking our dog around the loop our dog was attacked by a pitbull at campsite 10. The pitbull was tethered to a chain on a line hung between two trees, the pitbull charged us just as were walking by, breaking (snapping) its collar, freeing the dog. Our dog sustained several lacerations and puncture wounds that required medical treatment at an Animal Emergency room 25 miles away. The Host and Hostess assisted us in getting the help needed as well as contacting the local authorities.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
