Campground is between beach and busy highway. Traffic noise is deafening. One star for nice beach, although water was a cold algae soup.

You will need a level of bug protection, once that is established you will enjoy the experience.

We had a two night reservation and a sign on the post that our site5 was reserved. We left for a few hours and when we returned, our reserved sign had been stolen and our, still wrapped, bundle of wood. It was obvious we were coming back but someone took our stuff anyway. Would not recommend this place. Dont LEAVE ANY STUFF, even if you leave for a while.

Nice campground right on Lake Michigan. Noise from busy road is very apparent in camp throughout the night. Dogs are not allowed on the beach. I would only stay here again if I was in a site right on the water.

The beach area is just beautiful. We enjoyed the view of the bridge in the daytime and at night, when the bridge was lit up. Lake Huron was clean and cool and the dog loved playing fetch in the water.
The park is close enough to St. Ignace to walk, and you can catch a ferry to go to the island. The camp sites are closer together to each other than we usually like, but we would return because of the beauty of the lake. Michigan sure takes care of the mosquitos in their parks! We were not bothered at all by them!

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
